Broomfield is a rural village some six miles south east of Maidstone. It has a small population of 29 dwellings and 70 inhabitants. The 12th Century church is popular with residents of nearby Kingswood for use in weddings and baptisms. Two bells have been very recently installed, bringing the total up to five. The churchyard is open and in use. Broomfield forms a single parish with Leeds.

Regular services at Broomfield:
1st Sunday: Family Communion at 3.30pm
5th Sunday: Benefice Service.

There is an annual well dressing at St Margaret’s Well, adjacent to the church, coinciding with the patronal festival in July.

Financial upkeep is supported by the Friends of Leeds and Broomfield Churches.
